MISSION AND VISION STATEMENT
Bethel Academy is a volunteer-based multicultural learning center dedicated to offering free after-school programs for children grades K-8 from Montgomery and Delaware Counties. Founded in 2005, in response to members of Bethel AME Church of Ardmore desiring to address the student achievement gap for underrepresented children in the local community.
Bethel Academy’s vision is to empower students and families to navigate their educational experience to attain academic success and greater achievements as life long learners.
We offer tutoring services from September to May each school year. Our calendar follows the Lower Merion School District academic year
calendar.
The Academy is open to all children and families.
We are proud to partner with Lower Merion School District, buildOn, Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, Ardmore Business Initiative, and The PALM.
